On Saturday 19th April 2008 Bournemouth’s Aruba Bar and Restaurant provided an exotic setting for Muse Platform – a one-day multi arts event. Despite the rainy weather, during the 16-hour back-to-back programme, this free event attracted a supportive audience of 2500 people of all ages through the venue doors.

The event was organised by soon to graduate BA (Hons) Arts and Events Management students from the Arts Institute at Bournemouth: Danielle Rose, Chloe Parmiter and Elizabeth Marshall. The unwavering commitment of these three organisers over 7 months culminated in the successful event that offered a platform for local artists at various stages in their creative careers.
